Software License Agreement

1. License Grant

StampJam grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our web-based stamp design and PDF stamping software for your personal or business use, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

2. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the StampJam platform, including but not limited to code, design templates, logos, and software infrastructure, are the sole property of StampJam. This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the software or content.

3. Permitted Uses

  • Designing and downloading digital stamps for personal or professional use
  • Using StampJam's PDF stamping tool to mark documents digitally
  • Creating and exporting assets under your paid plan plan in accordance with your subscription

4. Prohibited Uses

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or distributing StampJam’s software or assets
  • Copying or reverse-engineering the platform or its underlying code
  • Using the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activities
  • Removing copyright or trademark notices from any part of the platform

5. Termination

This license is effective until terminated by either party. StampJam reserves the right to terminate your access and license at any time if you breach any part of this agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the platform and delete any downloaded materials that violate this license.

6. No Warranty

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. StampJam disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

Refund policy

Thank you for using StampJam, your go-to tool for creating digital stamps. Due to the nature of our service, all purchases are final. Please review the details of our refund policy below before making a purchase.

No Refunds – Digital Product

All StampJam plans and stamp downloads are delivered digitally and are considered consumed once accessed or generated. Therefore, we do not offer refunds for any successfully created digital stamps, subscriptions, or one-time purchases.

Exceptions – Technical Errors

We will issue a full refund if:

  • You successfully made a payment, but due to a system error, internet disruption, or platform malfunction, your digital stamp was not generated or delivered.
  • You reported the issue to our support team within 48 hours of the transaction.

How Refunds Are Processed

Data Processing Addendum

This Data Processing Addendum (“Addendum”) is entered into by and between StampJam ("Processor") and the Customer ("Controller") in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and relevant UK data protection laws.

This Addendum forms part of the Terms of Service and/or any agreement governing the use of StampJam's services.

1. Definitions

  • Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Controller: The entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
  • Processor: The entity that processes personal data on behalf of the Controller.
  • Data Subject: The individual to whom the personal data relates.
  • Processing: Any operation performed on personal data such as collection, use, or storage.

2. Subject Matter

This Addendum covers the processing of personal data necessary for the use of StampJam’s digital stamp creation and related services by the Customer.

3. Nature and Purpose of Processing

StampJam will process personal data solely for:

  • Providing the Service
  • Managing user accounts and subscriptions
  • Providing technical support
  • Complying with legal requirements

4. Types of Data and Data Subjects

  • Types of Data: Name, email, company name, IP address, uploaded content, billing info
  • Data Subjects: Customers, customer employees, or users accessing the Service

5. Controller Obligations

The Customer agrees to ensure all personal data provided is lawful, necessary, and compliant with data protection regulations.

6. Processor Obligations

StampJam shall:

  • Only process personal data under documented instructions
  • Maintain confidentiality and train staff appropriately
  • Implement technical and organizational security measures
  • Assist the Customer in responding to Data Subject rights requests

7. Sub-Processors

StampJam may use third-party sub-processors for hosting, analytics, or payment processing. All sub-processors are bound by contracts ensuring equivalent data protection obligations. A list is available upon request.

8. International Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, StampJam ensures appropriate safeguards are in place such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

StampJam will notify the Customer without undue delay if it becomes aware of a personal data breach affecting Customer data, providing relevant details and mitigation steps.

11. Data Subject Rights

StampJam will assist the Customer in meeting obligations related to Data Subject rights, including:

  • Access and correction
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Data portability
  • Objections to processing

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Upon service termination, StampJam will, at the Customer’s instruction, either delete or return all personal data unless retention is required by law.

13. Audits

The Customer may request information or reasonable audits related to StampJam’s data protection practices, no more than once per year, subject to confidentiality safeguards.

14. Liability

Each party’s liability under this Addendum is subject to the limitations set out in the main Terms of Service or Service Agreement.

15. Governing Law

This Addendum is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable data protection laws.
